Hey everyone,
I wanted to share some thoughts about my YouTube channel and explain a change I’ll be making. Balancing game development and creating videos has been a challenge, and I’ve realised it’s time to adjust my approach to focus on what matters most.
1. Repetitive Content and Time Constraints
Lately, I’ve noticed my videos are starting to feel repetitive. I’ve been creating content, but it often lacks the depth or variety I’d like to bring. Shorter videos don’t feel engaging enough, and producing longer, more polished videos takes a significant amount of time—time I simply don’t have right now.
2. Prioritising My Game Development
As much as I enjoy making videos, my game development has to come first. Without enough progress on the game, it’s hard to create meaningful devlogs or show off exciting updates. I’ve realised that focusing too much on YouTube has been taking time and energy away from what I really want to accomplish: finishing my game.
3. The New Plan
To create better content and prioritise my game, I’ll be posting videos every 2 weeks or once a month instead of trying to keep up with a more frequent schedule. This will give me the breathing room to work on my game and produce videos that are worth watching.
I’ll still share quicker updates like text posts and pictures on my social media, so if you want to follow along more closely, that’s the best place to stay up to date.
Thank you so much for your support and understanding—it means a lot to me! I’m excited to keep sharing this journey with you, even if it’s at a slightly slower pace.
